\n\tLady Gaga<\/a> revisited a childhood classic for a new Super Bowl<\/a> commercial. The pop star offered her own rendition of \u201cWon\u2019t You Be My Neighbor?,\u201d the theme song from PBS family series Mister Rogers\u2019 Neighborhood<\/em>, in an ad for Redfin and Rocket. <\/p>\n \n\tIn a behind-the-scenes clip, Gaga shared why she wanted to reimagine the heartfelt song, originally performed by host Fred Rogers. \u201cI just think about my earliest memories as a kid watching\u00a0Mister Rogers,<\/em>\u00a0and I think about how much he meant to people, especially kids at home,\u201d she said while working on the song at Shangri-La Studios. \u201cSo I feel like this just needs to be very heartfelt and kind and warm.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cMr. Rogers was so clearly someone that stood for something, and it is powerful to think of what he would say right now, and it\u2019s kind of a special song to revisit at this time,\u201d Gaga added. \u201cIt was interesting to create something really heartfelt that keeps the purity and beauty of the original version but does it in a new way.\u201d<\/p>\n
