A new music festival is coming to Chicago this May with a lineup that spans both iconic artists from the early 2000s like Juvenile, Shaggy and Monica, and popular House and R&B DJs including Kaytranada. <\/p>\n

The inaugural Forever Mine Music Festival will take place May 23 and 24 at Union Park in the West Loop, according to organizers. The festival will be held across three stages, “each with unique vibes.”<\/p>\n

\u201cChicago gave the world house music, and this city has always been where house and R&B intersect. That\u2019s why we\u2019re bringing them together at Forever Mine,\u201d co-owners Fernando Nieto and Miguel Torres said in a release announcing the festival. \u201cWe want to see a crowd of all ages singing the anthems that defined the early 2000s and are now finding new life with the next generation.\u201d<\/p>\n

The festival will also feature live art installations from Chicago artists, Y2K-inspired photo booths, bars, food vendors and more. VIP tickets will be available, organizers said. <\/p>\n

The event runs from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, with tickets on sale beginning at 12 p.m. CT Friday, Jan. 30. on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. <\/p>\n
