The\u00a0Frankenstein<\/a>\u00a0star\u2014who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2026\u00a0ceremony hosted by\u00a0Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a>\u2014shared that his plus-one for the Mar. 15 event will be his mom\u00a0Melissa Elordi<\/strong>.\u00a0And for the pair, it\u2019s a decade-old\u00a0invite that\u00a0is finally coming to fruition.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m going to take mom,\u201d Jacob said\u00a0during his Jan. 27 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>. \u201cI promised her when I was 15 that I would take her. So, I have to honor that.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

And while Jacob noted that his mom is usually \u201ccool\u201d around other celebs, there is one star in particular that would have her fangirling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As he put it, \u201cYeah,\u00a0John Travolta<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0[and] I\u2019d probably usher her to the next room.\u201d<\/p>\n

While the 28-year-old\u2019s mom always knew that he would make it big, his dad\u00a0John Elordi<\/strong>\u00a0pushed for the\u00a0Euphoria\u00a0actor to have a practical backup plan.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom fully believed in me the whole time,\u201d he explained. \u201cAnd I remember dad did the dad thing at one point where he was like, \u2018You know, you\u2019ve got to have a plan B because this isn\u2019t necessarily feasible.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
