Throughout the 2020s, Olive Ardizoni and Michael Flanagan have been making new-age-y “eco-ambient” music about environmental distress under the name Green-House. The project, which began as Ardizoni’s solo venture, has already yielded two full-length albums, and a third is on the way.<\/p>\n

Hinterlands<\/em> drops in March via Green-House’s new label home, Ghostly International. As beloved Stereogum subscriber crania points out in our Discord<\/a>, album merch includes a very cute plush sloth<\/a>. “Farewell, Little Island,” the album’s lead single, injects pleasing percolations into Green-House’s serene soundscapes.
