Jeremy Vuolo<\/strong><\/a> is looking back on the early days of his relationship with wife Jinger Duggar<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I met you, your family was literally in hiding,\u201d he recalled on the Wednesday, January 28, episode of the couple\u2019s \u201cJinger & Jeremy\u201d podcast. \u201cLike, I met you and then it was, like, three or four months later, I go out and visit Ben [Seewald] and Jessa [Duggar] and everything broke, the news of the first scandal. And your family\u2019s literally in hiding.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremy, 38, was referring to when Jinger\u2019s brother Josh Duggar<\/strong><\/a> was accused in 2015 of molesting multiple girls<\/a> when he was a teenager years prior. It was later revealed that some of the victims were Josh\u2019s sisters.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had a relationship with you through those months and I\u2019m watching how you were responding to your life crumble on international headlines,\u201d Jeremy continued. \u201cAnd I was going, \u2018OK, this isn\u2019t theory. This is actually real life that her faith is in practice.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo\u2018s love story may have been a whirlwind \u2014 but their connection is undeniably strong. The couple were introduced through Jinger\u2019s sister Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald, who met the former soccer star in Texas before he visited the Duggar family in Arkansas. Jinger reflected on the early days [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Jinger, 32, and Jeremy met in 2015 and got married one year later. They share three children: daughters Felicity, 7, and Evangeline, 5, and son Finn, 10 months.<\/p>\n

The 19 Kids and Counting<\/em> alum shared her own perspective on the podcast about how her relationship with Jeremy began, noting, \u201cI was glad that you were able to be around at that time because I think you saw our family in a place that a lot of people weren\u2019t able to have a front row seat to. And I was thankful for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

TLC eventually canceled 19 Kids and Counting<\/em> following the 2015 accusations against Josh, who was also involved in the Ashley Madison data breach that year. Jinger and some of her siblings returned for another series, Counting On,<\/em> which premiered in 2015.<\/p>\n

Jinger has been candid about her family\u2019s struggles<\/a> through the years, referring to the molestation scandal as the \u201cworst trial in our family history\u201d in her 2021 book, The Hope We Hold<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly,<\/em> Jinger hinted there was a small silver lining<\/a> from the scandal. \u201cOur family was way closer because of that, and in spite of that, I guess you\u2019d say,\u201d she told Us<\/em> in 2021. \u201cI will never forget how I felt in that moment. And I think even everything that happens in our lives \u2014 because we\u2019re in the public eye \u2014 it makes it more challenging because then it\u2019s not just dealing with these things inwardly, but you have to give an answer to the world. That makes it a much tougher thing to walk through.\u201d<\/p>\n
