Matthew Lillard<\/a> told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> that it was \u201cbeautiful\u201d to see fans and industry names come to his support last year after Quentin Tarantino<\/a> publicly dissed him along with fellow actors Paul Dano<\/a> and Owen Wilson<\/a>. During a viral interview on \u201cThe Bret Easton Ellis Podcast\u201d last fall, Tarantino<\/a> slammed Dano as \u201cthe weakest fucking actor in SAG<\/a>\u201d and added that \u201cI don\u2019t care for\u201d Lillard or Wilson.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was like living through your own wake,\u201d Lillard said about the resulting tributes to his career on social media that were posted to combat Tarantino\u2019s comments. \u201cAll those R.I.P. emails or tweets and Instagram<\/a> posts and TikToks, all of the things we see after somebody passes are so sweet.
