Ullr Fest <\/strong>\u2013 4-8 p.m., Diamond Peak Ski Resort, 1210 Ski Way. The annual Ullr Fest Parade & Community Party will be held on the evening of Friday, January 30, 2026 at Diamond Peak Ski Resort. Join the community for an all-ages celebration, while raising funds for the Diamond Peak Ski Team (DPSEF). The festive evening will include a torchlight parade, bonfire, music, raffles, food, drinks and more! Come dressed in your best Ullr attire as the event is named for the Scandinavian god of winter and snow, who is widely regarded as the patron saint of skiers. Ullr hats will be available for purchase, while supplies last. Admission and parking are free. Food, drinks, raffles, and merchandise will be available for purchase. Base Lodge Provisions (food court) will be open with full food and beverage offerings in addition to the outlet locations! Please dress warm, as most of the festivities and the parade viewing will be on the deck and base area. The game is simple: after registration at the Main Lodge, check out the Poker Run trail map to see where all the Poker Chip Stations are hidden around the mountain. Plan your route to all of the Poker Chip Stations, ski\/ride to each zone, and take a selfie with the Poker Chip to prove you were there. At the end of the day, return back to the lodge within the time limit and you\u2019ll earn a card in your poker hand for each station you visit. In-Tune Tales combines violin, keyboards, acoustic and electric basses, and vocals to create a nostalgic live performance. Born and raised in Omaha, Scot Marshall has been entertaining in Reno\/Tahoe since 1985. He first learned the art of storytelling from his grandmother, Adabelle Cherry Marshall, who traveled with Chautauqua from 1916- 1918. While studying with jazz legend Rufus Reid, he learned how jazz improvisation is conducive to storytelling. Scot has played with the Reno Phil, Reno Chamber Orchestra, Omaha Symphony, Fargo\/Moorhead Symphony, Arthur Fiedler, The Diamonds, Greg Adams, The Jordanaires, Mimi Fox, and many more.
