The ships will be built at the Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership builds on a legacy that began in 1985, when Chantiers de l\u2019Atlantique constructed Royal Caribbean Group\u2019s original Sovereign Class ships: Sovereign of the Seas, Monarch of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas.<\/p>\n<p>The shipyard has continued to build ships for Royal Caribbean Group including Oasis Class, from game changing Harmony of the Seas, as well as Celebrity Cruises\u2019 Edge Series, and now, Royal Caribbean\u2019s new Discovery Class.<\/p>\n<p>The Discovery class is a brand new concept for Royal Caribbean that will blend cutting-edge technology with immersive experiences in a way the travel industry hasn\u2019t seen before.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Liberty, Chairman and CEO, Royal Caribbean Group, gave the following statement:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe Discovery Class represents our continued commitment to shaping the future of vacations.
