More than a year after <\/span>The Real<\/span><\/em> alum and <\/span>Jeezy<\/strong><\/a> finalized their divorce<\/a> following two years of marriage, she reflected on navigating such a difficult chapter in her life.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Divorce is heartbreaking, no matter what,” Jeannie shared on the Jan. 29 episode of iHeartRadio<\/span>‘s <\/span>Question Everythin<\/a>g<\/span><\/em> podcast. “It’s one of the greatest pains that any human has to endure, honestly.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Divorce is just\u2014it’s experiencing death alive,” she explained. “Divorce does this inhumane thing that forces you to then protect yourself to get what you need from the divorce. It’s the worst.”<\/span><\/p>\n

So, the 47-year-old\u2014who shares daughter <\/span>Monaco<\/strong>, 4, with the <\/span>Boyz N Da Hood<\/strong> member\u2014is thankful that their daughter was so young when they split up.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am so lucky that Monaco was only one when this happened,” she admitted to host Danielle Robay<\/strong>. “She’s not gonna remember what that turmoil is like. That’s not something I want her to ever have to think about. My job is to define peace for her.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
