Blake Lively sent Justin Baldoni a \u201csad\u201d private voice memo about the It Ends With Us production schedule in February 2023, that has been unsealed in their ongoing legal battle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cI hope you\u2019re so well,\u201d the actress began in the court exhibit, obtained by People.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI just wanted to connect to put something on your radar.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively confessed to hesitancy sharing her request with her co-star, noting that husband Ryan Reynolds had \u201cencouraged\u201d her to share.<\/p>\n Reynolds, 49, supposedly said, \u201cYou guys have such a great trust. Fill [Baldoni] in.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively, 38, went on to explain that she was speaking to Baldoni \u201cas a friend more than anything\u201d over how \u201cstressed\u201d she felt about filming their movie and \u201cProxy\u201d back-to-back after welcoming son Olin.<\/p>\n Lively noted that she doesn\u2019t \u201ctalk to [that director] like [she] talk[s] to\u201d Baldoni, before briefly mentioning her struggles to find a baby nurse.<\/p>\n \u201cThe only reason that I\u2019m doing [that movie] before is because I gave them my word and I wouldn\u2019t go back on that,\u201d she explained. \u201cBut having a week off in between, it\u2019s just a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively, who is also the mother of daughters James, 11, Inez, 9, and Betty, 6, added, \u201cShooting in April, shooting in March is just too soon after having a baby and not sleeping and wanting to be in my best shape.\u201d<\/p>\n Additionally, she admitted, \u201cRyan and I have also been really stressed about spending a month apart. \u2026 The most we\u2019ve ever done is less than two weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively confirmed that this was \u201cso not [Baldoni\u2019s] problem.\u201d<\/p>\n However, she said, \u201cI know our schedule is our schedule, I\u2019m not trying to move anything. But if by chance you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh my God, if I could go two weeks earlier, that would actually be great,\u2019 then amazing. If it is what it is, then it is what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n She concluded the voice memo, which she requested Baldoni \u201ckeep between\u201d them, by saying, \u201cSo nice talking to you. [Well], not talking to you. This is so sad. This is my social interaction these days \u2014 just talking into voice memos.\u201d<\/p>\n Reps for Lively and Baldoni did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n Lively filmed Proxy<\/i> between March and May 2023, followed by It Ends With Us<\/i> between May and June 2023 \u2014 until the writer\u2019s strike pushed the rest of filming back to January 2024.<\/p>\n By the time the movie, based on Colleen Hoover\u2019s book of the same name, premiered in August 2024, Baldoni and Lively had sparked feud rumours.<\/p>\n The duo did not interact while promoting the project.<\/p>\n Four months later, Lively sued Baldoni, 42, for sexual harassment, which he has denied \u2014 and while he countersued in January 2025, his case has since been dismissed.<\/p>\n Their ongoing legal battle <\/a>has been steadily making headlines, most recently sparking social media chatter with unsealed text messages and emails to Taylor Swift, Ben Affleck and more A-listers revealed, as well as Lively\u2019s voice message to Baldoni.<\/p>\n
