\n\tPeppa Pig has always been a pop girly, but she\u2019s making her porcine-pop-star status official with a brand-new Rihanna<\/a> cover and album. <\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday (Jan. 30), Billboard Family<\/a><\/em> is exclusively premiering Peppa\u2019s music video for her new cover of Rihanna\u2019s \u201cDiamonds,\u201d as her Peppa Pig Pop<\/a><\/em> album arrives on all platforms.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe baby-pink star of the long-running British children\u2019s series Peppa Pig<\/em> gives an upbeat update to Rihanna\u2019s uplifting hit, which topped the Billboard Hot 100<\/a> for three weeks in 2012. She also swaps out some lyrics, turning the shiny song into an ode to friendship as opposed to the romantic original. (Sample: \u201cI knew that we\u2019d become one right away\u201d becomes \u201cI knew that we\u2019d end as friends right away.\u201d)<\/p>\n

\n\tWe know from a previous A$AP Rocky interview that Peppa Pig<\/em> is definitely playing in his and Rihanna\u2019s house, with the rapper telling Dazed<\/a><\/em> in 2022 after welcoming their first child RZA: \u201cI will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what. I actually love to watch cartoons,\u201d he said, listing Peppa<\/em> as well as Teletubbies, Blue\u2019s Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba<\/em> and Baby Shark<\/em>. In addition to RZA, the superstar couple welcomed son Riot in 2023 and daughter Rocki last year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cDiamonds (Peppa\u2019s Version)\u201d arrives on streaming services as part of Peppa Pig Pop<\/em>, a four-song album that also includes previously released Peppa covers of BTS\u2019 \u201cDynamite,\u201d<\/a> Kelly Clarkson\u2019s \u201cStronger\u201d and Katy Perry\u2019s \u201cRoar.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n
