The King, 77, is said to be keen for his brother to move into Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate<\/a>, with an “interim house” being used prior to his permanent move. Despite major works seen to be taking place at the five-bedroom home, it is understood that Andrew’s move there may now be in doubt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As well as the former Duke of York reportedly said to be unhappy with the security arrangements in place for Marsh Farm, reports of a mole problem within the grounds are also said to be a reason the home may now not be an option for Andrew.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to The Times<\/a>, the problem now means that the King may be forced to relent and find another property for his brother at Sandringham.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 65-year-old has reportedly visited Marsh Farm, with the property not said to have impressed him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A source reportedly said: “It was the first time he\u2019s seen his new house and he is resigned to the fact that this is his future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“He’s come to the conclusion that he has to get on with the rest of his life and accepts he has to make the best of it.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking of the Sandringham estate, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams previously shared that he believes that it was the right move by King Charles to let Andrew reside in Norfolk.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to GB News<\/a>, Mr Fitzwilliams said: “I think it was only reasonable [for Andrew to stay in Sandringham], given the circumstances, he had to stay somewhere.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Adding a reason behind the choice of move, he added: “That’s one way of, in a sense, controlling him.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
