The scary thing, I guess, is that falling in love is mixing both of those things. It&#8217;s the romance and it&#8217;s also being with someone for the long haul in the real world. His M.O. is his weakest spot, really.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Still, Thompson admits that he doesn\u2019t entirely know why Benedict hasn\u2019t caught on to Sophie\u2019s secret identity by the end of part one.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cIt&#8217;s a really lovely moment, I think, because it&#8217;s sort of unexpected. You&#8217;re like, \u2018Surely he can see!\u2019 But then we&#8217;re all blind, do you know what I mean?\u201d he says. \u201cWe all go and do things for years, or don&#8217;t think to do things for years, or aren&#8217;t aware of things for ages, and then suddenly the penny drops\u2026. But before he realizes that it&#8217;s in fact not her, you notice that Sophie walks in the room. And he&#8217;s so drawn to Sophie that he realizes in that moment that he actually doesn&#8217;t care if Miss Hollis is the Lady in Silver.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Brownell adds that viewers will see Benedict become much more forthright with his feelings for Sophie in the second half of the series, which is slated to drop on Feb. 26.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cI think for us on the page, that is the moment where Benedict realizes, \u2018I could have the Lady in Silver sitting in front of me right now, but that housemaid who&#8217;s just walked in to pour us tea?
