Earlier today, fans got another taste of what\u2019s to come with the release of the new single \u201cEgo Death\u201d and its accompanying music video.<\/p>\n Those not familiar with the concept of ego death should know that it\u2019s a process where you basically let go of who you are to become someone new. It\u2019s typically discussed in the same vein as psychedelia, as it typically happens when you take high doses of psilocybin or another related drug. And yes, I know that\u2019s an oversimplification of the concept. You\u2019re here for music, not a treatise on psychedelics and the dissolution of one\u2019s ego.<\/p>\n As far as the song is concerned, it\u2019s grovvy as hell, has some crunchy riffs going on, and it\u2019s melodic as hell at times.
