Cardiovascular disease is a great risk for women, especially for those unaware of how it can affect you. As someone living with PCOS (<\/span>Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), Pieterse is more likely to deal with heart issues at some point in her life, which is why she is supporting the American Heart Association.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI have a lot of health issues,” the actress shared. \u201cPCOS is really connected to heart disease, so I\u2019m predisposed to that. But I have a lot of heart disease in my family, some friends of mine have it.
