Sarah Ferguson<\/a> appears to have thanked Jeffrey Epstein for \u201cbeing the brother I have always wished for\u201d in an email exchange released by the US Department of Justice. The exchange, sent on August 3, 2009, is between Epstein and someone referred to just as \u201cSarah\u201d, and was among more than three million documents published by the DOJ on Friday relating to the disgraced paedophile financier.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the email, \u201cSarah\u201d thanks Epstein and refers to discussions she has been having with retailers regarding her \u201cSarah Ferguson brand\u201d. The sender\u2019s email address is redacted. She goes on to say she has \u201cnever been more touched by a friends kindness\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The message, which doesn’t indicate any wrongdoing, reads: \u201cThank you so much Jeffrey. I had the best discussion with Target on Friday, and they want desperately the whole Mothers Army project. They also want to get behind my entire Sarah Ferguson brand, books etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cTommy Hilfiger wants to build my entire apparel, Fragrance etc etc brand, and sell it on QVC. NBC want my Mothers Army TV Show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“So too does Ryan Seacrest.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“In just one week, after your lunch, it seems the energy has lifted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI have never been more touched by a friends kindness than your compliment to me infront of my girls.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cThank you Jeffrey for being the brother I have always wished for.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Many high-profile individuals have appeared in documents released by the DOJ on Friday and in previous batches. Being named or pictured in these files doesn’t imply any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sarah previously spoke of her “regret” about her association with Epstein, who in 2008 was jailed for soliciting underage sex. He was released on probation after 13 months, after being sentenced to 18 months in jail.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The latest batch of DOJ documents also include an invitation sent from Sarah to Epstein to the 50th birthday party of the then Prince Andrew<\/a>. The bash would take place at St James’s Palace in February 2010.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0Epstein seemingly replied to a different email chain also released yesterday, saying he was “not able” to attend the party.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
