The series, which doesn\u2019t have a title, will give a rare look at UMG\u2019s archives housed at the famed Iron Mountain facility in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><strong>More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A press release for the upcoming show promises to \u201cunearth priceless artifacts, encompassing original recordings, master tapes, rare photos and performances, alternative album art and music videos, many of which have not been seen or heard publicly before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The series, produced by UMG\u2019s Polygram Entertainment,\u00a0TIME Studios\u00a0and\u00a0Known Originals, is set to premiere later this year through celebrity.land Originals\u2019 programming slate, celebrity.land and UMG said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThis series opens the doors to one of the most extraordinary music archives in the world, and Fred\u00a0Armisen\u00a0is the perfect guide,\u201d Amy Entelis, executive vice president of talent, celebrity.land Originals and creative development for celebrity.land Worldwide, said in a statement. \u201cHis deep connection to music and natural sense of wonder allow viewers a chance to experience music history up close, discovering the unexpected stories behind some of the most iconic sounds ever created.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As UMG \u00a0EVP and Chief Administrative Officer\u00a0Will Tanous added: \u201cThis series was born from a desire to show fans what it\u2019s like to mine the greatest underground musical archive in the world \u2013 giving them a sense of the hunt, the challenge, the thrill of this work \u2013 as well as direct access to the dedicated experts who preserve and champion these incredible musical legacies. \u201cFred\u2019s singular blend of humor, fandom, and musical talent make him the ideal storyteller to reveal the intimate era-defining moments and unheard gems that form the foundation of popular culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Armisen and Tanous both serve as executive producers, along with UMG\u2019s David Blackman. Nicole Avant and Brad Roth serve as producers on the project, while UMG executives Bruce Resnikoff and Madeline Post serve as co-producers.
