Julia Roberts<\/strong><\/a> shared a rare PDA-filled pic with her husband, Danny Moder<\/strong><\/a>, in honor of his 57th birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201c\ud83d\udd25\ud83c\udf89\ud83e\udd70\ud83c\udf82\ud83d\udd25 My fav[e] day. My fav[e] man. #131 #WLF,\u201d Roberts, 58, captioned a photo<\/a> of her hugging the cinematographer on Saturday, January 31.<\/p>\n

A few of the couple\u2019s famous friends sent along their own birthday wishes for Moder, including Rita Wilson<\/strong> who wrote in the comments section, \u201cHappy Birthday!!!!!!\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0flove to all Moders!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Complicated<\/em> actress Alexandra Wentworth<\/strong> added, \u201cHappy Birthday to the great Danny Moder!\u201d<\/p>\n

Roberts and Moder will celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary in July. The couple met on the set of Roberts\u2019 2001 crime comedy The Mexican<\/em>, where Moder was working as a cameraman. Roberts and Moder were both in other relationships at the time but later reconnected once they were single.<\/p>\n

Roberts and Moder started stepping out together in 2001 and eventually tied the knot at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico, on July 4, 2002. They share three children: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 21, and Henry, 18. (Roberts was previously married to country singer Lyle Lovett<\/strong> for two years, and had high-profile relationships with Kiefer Sutherland<\/strong> and Matthew Perry<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Last September, Roberts paid sweet tribute to her enduring marriage during an interview with Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a> alongside her After the Hunt<\/em> costars Andrew Garfield<\/strong> and Ayo Edebiri.<\/strong> Roberts didn\u2019t hesitate when asked to name an \u201celement that brings you joy\u201d in life.<\/p>\n

\u201cDanny Moder,\u201d she replied. \u201cNever changes. Never changes. Sometimes more. Sometimes medium.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Oscar winner has spoken often in the past about how she considered raising a family to be her greatest accomplishment <\/a>in life. Chatting to CBS News in 2022, Roberts mentioned that she considered being a wife and mom her \u201cfull-time job.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt isn\u2019t rainbows and kittens every day, but it does bring me a lot of joy,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n

Roberts went on, \u201cIt\u2019s just never consumed me, being an actor. It is my dream come true, but it is not my only dream come true. The life that I have built with my husband [and] the life that we\u2019ve built with our children, that\u2019s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The America\u2019s Sweethearts<\/em> star also shared one way that she and Moder have kept passion alive in their marriage has been to write each other handwritten love notes.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Writing handwritten notes is] something Danny and I have always done,\u201d she told CBS host Jane Pauley<\/strong> in 2022. \u201cThe first letter he ever wrote me, which was seven pages long, I still have it tucked away. One day I\u2019ll show it to [my daughter] Hazel and say, \u2018That\u2019s what you\u2019re looking for.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

A year later, Us Weekly<\/em> exclusively reported<\/a> that Roberts and Moder were working through the \u201chard time\u201d that came with their eldest children leaving the nest. (Their twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, enrolled in college in September 2013 while Henry was finishing high school.)<\/p>\n
