Lily Allen is releasing a second revenge album.<\/p>\n
\nFollowing the success of her latest record West End Girl, which details the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour, Lily, 40, is reportedly set to drop a new record which details how she has been mistreated by music executives.<\/p>\n
\nThe album was reportedly written five years ago but never released.<\/p>\n
\nA source told The Mail On Sunday newspaper: \u201cThere’s now great excitement about Lily’s unreleased album finally getting a release. She’s really pushing the idea.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cHaving timed the release of West End Girl perfectly to coincide with Harbour’s comeback in Stranger Things, heaven knows what she’s got in store for her other exes if the album does get released.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLily knows her currency right now, she is a superstar after her last album and if ever there was a time to get what she wants, it’s now.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere will be plenty of material \u2013 Lily has had rotten time within the industry. As a vulnerable young woman, there were many people circling around to abuse her.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nShe is reportedly set to work with British\u2013born producer Blue May, who collaborated with her on West End Girl, to help her update the record for release.<\/p>\n
\nLily hints on West End Girl that ex David was unfaithful to her and admitted her experiences in her second marriage gave her a better understanding of the “pain” first husband Sam Cooper felt in their relationship.<\/p>\n
\nShe previously told The Observer newspaper: “[I’ve learned there are no] baddies and goodies in a marriage but, having done things that were not very nice in my first marriage, I have a better idea now of the pain I may have inflicted. <\/p>\n
\n“I\u2019ve learned how horrible it is to be on the receiving end of that.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nLily has found getting divorced “devastating” and said it has left her struggling to trust other people.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cIt\u2019s just sort of devastating, really. It keeps you up at night and costs a huge amount of money and just goes on and on and on. And I hate feeling like I can\u2019t trust anyone. But there\u2019s something about dealing with an ex-partner and lawyers that creates an environment of feeling like you can\u2019t trust anybody or anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
