The K-pop star opened the ceremony with her collaborator and fellow nominee, Bruno Mars, for an electric performance of \u201cAPT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"5\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">The performance was high-energy and explosive, the perfect way to open the show. Ros\u00e9 bounced around the stage while Mars shredded on the guitar. She had done an open audition in Australia and was selected to go to Korea.<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"11\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cI remember when that happened, it was like, I thought that would never happen,\u201d she said. \u201cI never thought I would ever fly to Korea and live in that city ever. I always kind of dreamed of like, it\u2019d be so fun to live in Korea. I grew up in New Zealand and Australia, so I\u2019m like, \u2018Just living in Asia and that city is just so fun and different.\u2019<\/p>\n<p data-journey-content=\"true\" data-node-id=\"12\" class=\"css-6wxqfj emevuu60\">\u201cI thought it would never happen and going there to chase after my dreams, like how fun. And then again, this Grammy nomination, it feels like, \u2018Oh my gosh, I never thought that would be possible.\u2019 Like yes, Blackpink, and we\u2019re getting so much love, and I\u2019m so grateful for that. And it\u2019s so exciting. But I didn\u2019t think it would be a possibility.\u201d She said it\u2019s \u201clike the second chapter of my life.
