Dunkin’ Donuts is back in the game… the big game, that is.<\/p>\n
During the Grammys on Sunday, the brand announced its return to the Super Bowl stage with a new ad teasing what\u2019s to come \u2014 and yes, Dunkin’ superfan Ben Affleck<\/a> is back again.<\/p>\n Titled \u201cNo One Can See This,\u201d the teaser begins with Affleck ejecting a VHS labeled “Network Pilot ’95 v3” from a TV and asking stars from the biggest ’90s shows \u2014 Matt LeBlanc<\/a> and Jennifer Aniston<\/a> of Friends<\/em>, and Jason Alexander<\/a> of Seinfeld<\/em> \u2014 for their “reactions, thoughts, love, or affection.”<\/p>\n When Aniston immediately shakes her head, Affleck goes on the defensive. “Hear me out. What’s hot now? Cringe. I have monster cringe. Golden cringe,” he says, as Alexander mutters about how this is somehow the same man who directed the Best Picture-winning Argo<\/em>.<\/p>\n “No one, no<\/em> one<\/em> can see this,” Aniston begs as Affleck awkwardly assures her it’s “only going to air once.”<\/p>\n The new Super Bowl spot is quickly becoming something of a tradition for the Affleck family and Dunkin’. In 2024, the\u00a0Argo<\/em>\u00a0actor and director put on his DunKings tracksuit for a commercial that aired during Super Bowl LVIII, and also starred longtime bestie\u00a0Matt Damon<\/a>\u00a0and retired New England Patriots quarterback\u00a0Tom Brady<\/a>. Hyped by Affleck as “the Boston Massacre,” the ensemble invaded the music studio of Affleck’s then-wife,\u00a0Jennifer Lopez<\/a>, much to her embarrassment. That memorable spot also featured\u00a0Jack Harlow<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Fat Joe<\/a>.<\/p>\n Then, in 2025, Affleck put the band back together, but enlisted his younger brother,\u00a0Casey Affleck<\/a>; fellow Bostonian\u00a0Jeremy Strong<\/a>; and his former\u00a0Chasing Amy\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Dogma<\/em>\u00a0costars,\u00a0Jason Mewes<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kevin Smith<\/a>, in lieu of Brady and Damon.<\/p>\n In a continuation of the previous year\u2019s spot, Affleck enlisted these new members to the DunKings, his reformed boy band, as they prepared for a roast battle with a rival coffee brand. \u201cThis ain\u2019t the DunKings. Where the hell are Matt and Tom?\u201d a young fan asked in the ad.<\/p>\n Affleck replied in his thick Boston accent, \u201cForget them suckas. Matt Damon and Tom Brady don\u2019t have the heart of a champion. We got a new squad! DunKings sequel!\u201d The new group also included former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who also appeared in the ad.
