A Sydney rapper wanted over a gangland murder has surfaced in Bali, releasing a music video that openly mocks police while on the run.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The 31-year-old, known as Harley Johan, has been wanted since September last year, when NSW Police issued a warrant for his arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of Comanchero associate Niddal Acherkouk in Surry Hills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The clip begins with a 9News bulletin that aired after the arrest warrant was announced, showing presenter Peter Overton quoting police urging Johan to return to Australia and \u201cface the music.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Who\u2019s the greatest? Watch them fall,\u201d he raps in another verse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDamn. Now your parents crying about you dying.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cNow they have to buy a casket and the suit you lie in.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cDamn, guess they never got that silver lining.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Throughout the clip, Johan is seen brandishing guns, holding one to his head, and acting out scenes showing car theft and number plate swapping.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Acherkouk, linked to the Comanchero outlaw motorcycle gang, was gunned down on November 22, 2024, on Cleveland Street, Surry Hills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The 33-year-old had only recently returned to Australia after evading an attempted kidnapping in 2023, believing tensions had eased.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He dined that night with friends at Erciyes, a Turkish restaurant, before crossing the road to his parked Ford Ranger at a nearby BP service station.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n CCTV footage shows two men ambushing him, firing multiple rounds into the vehicle. Acherkouk fled toward Cleveland Street but collapsed and died in the middle of the road.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The shooters escaped in a stolen Porsche SUV which was later found torched in Kensington.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In September, police alleged Johan was connected to the killing, though his precise role remains unclear.
