So it comes as no surprise that celebrities love to call this province home, too. Whether vacation escapes or permanent abodes, these Hollywood star maintain close ties to B.C.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t get much more hometown than building your mansion across the street from the elementary school you attended. That\u2019s what the award-winning, megaselling crooner and father of four did.<\/p>\n

Valued at close to $30 million<\/a>, Casa Bubl\u00e9 boasts the usual mansion stuff but takes it up a notch and includes an indoor hockey rink so the Canucks-crazy Bubl\u00e9 can lace \u2018em up whenever he feels like it.<\/p>\n \u201cThat was the goal. It was like this one thing: where can I just go with my\u00a0buddies\u00a0and be so stupid and not worry?\u201d Bubl\u00e9\u00a0said\u00a0about his funhouse\u00a0in a\u00a0TikTok\u00a0video.<\/p>\n Will & Grace star Eric McCormack.<\/p>\n After years of calling Los Angeles home the Will & Grace star\u00a0has\u00a0returned to\u00a0Vancouver.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter three decades in L.A., I\u2019m delighted to be back here full time,\u201d said McCormack when he was honoured with an award from the Directors Guild of Canada B.C. in January.<\/p>\n The Toronto-born actor first came here decades ago. Since then, he has worked here in theatre and many TV and film productions, including starring in three seasons of the Netflix sci-fi drama Travelers<\/p>\n Elvis Costello and Diana Krall are pictured at an event in Toronto on Aug.15, 2005.<\/p>\n Nanaimo native Diana Krall \u2014 there is a plaza named after her in that cityo \u2014 and her English musician have a luxury home in West Vancouver and an island retreat in Nanoose Bay.<\/p>\n Krall\u2019s song Departure Bay from her 2004 album The Girl in the Other Room, is co-written with Elvis Costello and is about her home town.<\/p>\n On the mainland Costello has been spotted pursuing the aisles of Park Royal\u2019s Whole Foods. During concert stops in Vancouver he has greeted the audience with \u201cit\u2019s good to be home.\u201d<\/p>\n Another fun fact: back in 1978 Costello\u2019s video for What\u2019s So Funny \u2018Bout) Peace Love and Understanding was shot around Vancouver, including in the forest of Stanley Park.<\/p>\n Pamela Anderson, seen here at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton on Jan. 5, 2025.<\/p>\n Famously discovered on the Jumbotron at a B.C. Lions football game, Anderson\u00a0 completely renovated her family compound in Ladysmith.<\/a>, with her HGTV TV series \u2014 Pamela\u2019s Garden of Eden \u2014 chronicling the transformation.<\/p>\n Recently the former Playboy cover girl and Baywatch star has had a career rebirth as an actress to be taken seriously. There I planned to spend the rest of my life as a hermit,\u201d\u00a0Mitchell said in 1988 on a Norwegian talk show.<\/p>\n Well, she\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0become a\u00a0hermit,\u00a0but she is Sunshine Coast regular and\u00a0is often spotted\u00a0riding the ferry and frequenting local spots like\u00a0The Shop on the Shore\u00a0in Davis Bay.<\/p>\n The horror movie The Monkey was shot in the Vancouver.<\/p>\n Horror film director and writer Perkins is a new addition to the Vancouver landscape having moved here with his wife and young son just a few years ago to make movies. His Vancouver shot resum\u00e9 includes Longlegs, The Monkey Keeper and The Young People. \u00a0He has set up the production company Phobos with Vancouver-native Chris Ferguson of Oddfellows, Entertainment.<\/p>\n \u201cThe air is nice, the food is good, the people are relaxed, and I pay a lot of taxes. The B.C.-born-and-raised actor has been claimed by several cities<\/a> looking to catch the wave of popularity around the Crave show. Despite longtime connections to Kamloops, the actor most recently resided in downtown Vancouver. He moved to the city in 2020 to attend Langara College.<\/p>\n While his star is shooting through the Hollywood stratosphere at the moment, Williams doesn\u2019t appear eager to cut ties with the city anytime soon.<\/p>\n \u201cIf I had f\u2014k-you money, I\u2019d get a little apartment in LA and a villa in Italy, as well as Vancouver.
