Paramore<\/a> singer Hayley Williams<\/a> has teamed up with songwriting partner Daniel James for a new project called Power Snatch. The duo have unveiled four tunes via a three-song EP and stand-alone single.<\/p>\n Williams and James revealed the project during a takeover on Apple Music 1, but it turns out the outfit has secretly been teasing music for months. They posted a snippet of a song via Instagram back in July, and released the tune \u201cDMs\u201d through Bandcamp in December.<\/p>\n Get Hayley Williams Tickets Here<\/a><\/p>\n Now, they\u2019ve unleashed a three-song effort titled EP1<\/em> via Bandcamp that features the songs \u201cDMs,\u201d \u201cDUH,\u201d and \u201cHOLE IN THE CEILING,\u201d as well as an additional spoken-word track titled \u201cASSIGNMENT\u201d via YouTube and other DSPs. The songs range in sound from indie to grunge to shoegaze to noise rock.<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n James co-wrote and co-produced Williams\u2019 most recent solo album, the Grammy-nominated Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party<\/em><\/a>, while also playing keyboards, guitar, and bass on the LP.<\/p>\n It remains to be seen if Williams will perform any Power Snatch songs on her upcoming North American solo tour<\/a>.
