Princess Beatrice<\/a> and Princess Eugenie<\/a> are reportedly \u201caghast, appalled and embarrassed\u201d<\/a> by what has emerged<\/a> in the last few days about their disgraced parents, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a> and Sarah Ferguson<\/a>. The former Duke and Duchess of York plunged further into humiliation<\/a> after embarrassing details and photographs featuring them emerged in the latest batch of the Epstein files.<\/p>\n One photograph appeared to show Andrew kneeling down on all fours next to an unidentified woman on the floor. A series of emails, which appeared to be sent by Fergie, as she is also known, saw the former Duchess praising the late convicted US financier, calling him a legend and describing him as the \u201cbrother I have always wished for\u201d.<\/p>\n Beatrice and Eugenie are also mentioned in the emails, with one email from Ms Ferguson stating that she is waiting for her youngest daughter to return from a \u201csh*****g weekend\u201d.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Sources close to the royal sisters have now claimed they find the latest revelations \u201cembarrassing\u201d.<\/p>\n They told the Daily Mail<\/a>: \u201cThey [Beatrice and Eugenie] are aghast at what they have read. They are mortified by the emails their mother has sent to Epstein. It is so embarrassing for them.\u201d<\/p>\n They added: “We don’t believe the girls were told much about what has just emerged [in the latest Epstein files release], and they will simply be aghast at just how close their parents were to this appalling man.\u201d<\/p>\n Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing, and his presence in the Epstein files does not necessarily suggest any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The disgraced former Duke stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after an interview on BBC<\/a> Newsnight, but the publication of his abuse accuser, Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, and the US Government’s release of documents from Epstein’s estate, brought more scrutiny over his relationship with the financier.<\/p>\n Andrew paid millions to Ms Giuffre, a woman he has claimed never to have met, to settle a civil sexual assault claim in 2022.<\/p>\n The King last year stripped Andrew of his royal titles and honours, while Fergie also lost her Duchess of York title.<\/p>\n
