Kate Middleton<\/a> had an “inspiring” secret outing.<\/p>\nOn Saturday, Jan. 31, the Princess of Wales released a personal message to Instagram<\/a> about her visit to the “The Beauty of the Earth<\/a>” exhibit at The Arc in Winchester, England. It was an unannounced outing for Princess Kate, 44, and came with a new video of her touring the display.<\/p>\n“My thanks to the team at The Arc in Winchester. It was inspiring to see how they have placed creativity at the heart of the community and made art widely accessible,” she began the message.<\/p>\n
“The Beauty of The Earth exhibition was a powerful reminder of the connection between nature, creativity and craft,” the Princess of Wales continued.<\/p>\n
She signed off as “C,” which is shorthand for her first name, Catherine. Princess Kate and Prince William<\/a> are known to sign social media posts with their first initials to indicate when messages come directly from them rather than their team.<\/p>\nThe new video, set to twinkling music, followed Princess Kate during her tour of the exhibit, including her animated conversations with her tour guide and close-up shots of some of the art.<\/p>\n
In the comments section, The Arc said it was an honor for the Princess of Wales to come visit.<\/p>\n
