\na singular, heartwarming sense of pure magic. Read on to learn the charming
\nqualities that make each one special.<\/p>\n

Rostock\/Warnem\u00fcnde<\/h2>\n

Rostock, a former East German town, is home to the largest
\nChristmas Market in Northern Germany. With over 200 decorated stalls spread
\nthroughout the historic town square, you can\u2019t help but feel the spirit of
\nChristmas all around you. Along with numerous local delicacies, such as
\nBackbanane (yes, fried banana) and various types of mulled wine (definitely try
\nthe Sanddornwein, made from tangy Sanddorn berries), there are also rides and
\nactivities for children, making this perfect for visitors of all ages.<\/p>\n

Take a quick 20-minute train ride to the quaint seaside town
\nof Warnemunde to see the soft sandy beaches and the significantly smaller, but
\never-so-charming, Christmas market there. Don\u2019t forget to try the Backfisch!<\/p>\n

Luebeck<\/h2>\n

Luebeck’s Christmas market is unique in that it features 11
\nthemed markets, including Fairytale Forest, Historical, Town Hall, Maritime,
\nIndoor Craft Market, and more. Each market has a unique look and feel, so you
\ncould spend hours just wandering the various themed areas. You can even find
\nChristmas karaoke in the evening with the lively younger crowd at the Harbour
\nGlow market on the water. And the best part is that all this merriment is in

\nMarienkapelle Chapel, Wuerzburg’s Christmas Market has over 100 booths,
\nindividually decorated for the season, and is the perfect blend of modern and
\ntraditional. You can shop for handmade holiday decorations, including beautiful
\nblown glass ornaments, while you sip on traditional local Gl\u00fchwein and sample
\nFranconian Christmas cookies. The region is known for producing excellent wine,
\nso be sure to stroll down to the Old Main Bridge to sip Silvaner and toast the
\nseason.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wiesbaden<\/h2>\n

Wiesbaden’s Shooting Star Market was buzzing with activity.
\nRight at the entrance, you’re greeted by a towering live Christmas tree covered
\nin twinkling lights. Guided by beautiful, illuminated lilies overhead, joyful
\nvisitors stroll through more than 100 stalls featuring arts and crafts, popular
