The Barber family of Wichita<\/a> won big on an episode of \u201cFamily Feud\u201d<\/a> that aired Friday evening on KSAS, Channel 24.<\/p>\n

That means that the five members of the team will be featured in another episode competing against another family. But that episode won\u2019t air for a week.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This week, \u201cFamily Feud\u201d is running its BetMGM Big Game<\/a> series of episodes, all featuring football-related questions, so the episode featuring the Barber family defending its title won\u2019t appear until 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9.<\/p>\n

The Barber family team, which includes Julia, Caroline Barber and Jennifer Barber, Erin Emrich and Kristin Streufert, gathered with friends and family on Friday evening for a watch party at the Ziggy\u2019s Pizza<\/a> at 119th and Maple in Wichita.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A cardboard cutout of the show\u2019s celebrity host, comedian Steve Harvey, greeted all who walked in, and the family packed the restaurant with people: Every table and every chair was filled with supporters, eating pizza, drinking beer and clapping wildly when the show was airing.<\/p>\n

The members of the Barber family team roamed around the restaurant talking to people. Jennifer Barber and Emrich were both wearing blue caps with the \u201cFamily Feud\u201d logo that they\u2019d picked up at the taping in late March.<\/p>\n

The episode featured the Barbers vs. the Rosado family of Weehawken, New Jersey. The contest went back and forth, but the Barbers narrowly defeated their competitors to advance to the show\u2019s \u201cFast Money\u201d round. Emrich and Julia Barber competed in that segment, where they each had to answer a series of questions quickly and get to at least 200 points. They easily did, and the crowded restaurant erupted when the Barbers were shown winning the show\u2019s big prize of $20,000.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Barber family team is made of sisters Jennifer Barber, Emrich and Streufert and Jennifer\u2019s two daughters, Julia and Caroline. The five traveled to the Tyler Perry Studios<\/a> in Atlanta in late March to tape the show, which is hosted by comedian Steve Harvey.<\/p>\n
