The Fox & Friends curvy couch was confounded on Monday morning, ripping into various artists for voicing their anti-ICE views on music\u2019s biggest night.<\/p>\n
After playing clips of such artists as Bad Bunny,<\/strong> maintaining<\/a>, \u201cWe\u2019re not animals. We\u2019re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans,\u201d Kehlani\u2019s<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cF*ck ICE!<\/a>\u201d rant and Billie Eilish<\/strong> saying<\/a>, \u201cNobody is illegal on stolen land,\u201d the hosts were flabbergasted.<\/p>\n \u201cSo there was nothing when children were being raped, dropped off with signs at the border,\u201d said Lawrence Jones<\/strong>. \u201cThere\u2019s no speeches about that at all. There was no speeches with the Americans that were \u2014 even some of them immigrated to this country, that were murdered by the people that were animals that raped. Jocelyn Nungaray<\/strong>, from my home state of Texas, was raped right by water. Then they tried to dispose her body. There was no speeches about any of that.\u201d<\/p>\n Brian Kilmeade<\/strong> suggested that anyone unhappy with how things are run in America can just move somewhere else, like Finland:<\/p>\n I just love these celebrities who say, \u2018Everybody\u2019s illegal on stolen land. If you don\u2019t like the land and our history 250 years later, you\u2019re free to leave. If you feel as though you\u2019re being brought up on stolen land, as ill-educated as you are, then you should actually go somewhere where you feel as though the land belongs. I don\u2019t know, Finland? I\u2019m sure you can go back and find someone indigenous to Finland or Norway. If you go to Europe, do you know anything about world history? Do you think Germans were just born in Germany? That\u2019s the way it all started in people don\u2019t migrate, people don\u2019t change, Vikings don\u2019t move, Columbus doesn\u2019t explore. I\u2019m sorry, what planet are you on? And then people cheer in response. But once again, the Grammys say we\u2019re empowered by ignorance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The show then played a clip of Bill Maher<\/strong> from Friday night\u2019s Real Time, knocking celebs who try to speak out for social change and noting all the celebrities who stumped for Kamala Harris<\/strong> in the 2024 election before she lost every swing state<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery big name in show business came out for Kamala Harris. From Oprah to Clooney and Beyonce, and she lost every swing state. Celebrities aren\u2019t helping. And why would they? In a country where the big issue now is affordability, outside of, I don\u2019t know, Springsteen and a few others, celebrities don\u2019t strike people as relatable or in touch. And what their activism mostly activates is eye rolls,\u201d submitted Maher.<\/p>\n Carley Shimkus<\/strong>, filling in for Ainsley Earhardt<\/strong> for Monday\u2019s show, called out the \u201cICE OUT\u201d pins worn by numerous artists at the Grammys.<\/p>\n \u201cI think for a majority of Americans, they look at these celebrities who are walking a red carpet wearing ball gowns and tuxedos and they all have an \u2018ICE OUT\u2019 pin on their lapel and they are making speeches and getting applause from literally everybody in the crowd, and they are trying to be viewed as somebody who is brave?\u201d she said. \u201cThat is not bravery. That is the picture of conformity.
