Jacob Elordi<\/a> joked about partly going Method<\/a> to play Heathcliff<\/a> in \u201cWuthering Heights<\/a>,\u201d only to fall victim to a freak accident that forced him physically to get into character. As he recounted to Esquire magazine, the film\u2019s makeup artist Si\u00e2n Miller<\/a> \u201cwas designing the scars from the whips for Heathcliff\u2019s back\u201d and sarcastically challenged Elordi to go Method by saying: \u201cIf Daniel Day-Lewis<\/a> was playing Heathcliff, he would have come in with scars.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018Well I\u2019m going to go away and maim myself on the weekend to prove to you that I\u2019m Heathcliff!’\u201d Elordi quipped back. \u201cThat night I went home, and the house I was staying in had a steam shower: a brass knob that steam came from out of the wall.\u201d<\/p>\n
