Kelly Clarkson<\/span><\/a> is making a big change in her life, one that will affect fans of her daytime talk show.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 43-year-old entertainer announced on social media Monday that <\/span>she will cease making \u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show\u201d<\/a> at the end of the current season.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Clarkson began her post by noting she\u2019s been \u201cextremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York,\u201d who she credited with helping to create \u201cso many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Clarkson said she was \u201cforever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

That\u2019s when the post pivoted to discussing the big news.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cBecause of all of that, this was not an easy decision, but this season will be my last hosting TKCS\u201d she wrote. \u201cStepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Clarkson also promised she won\u2019t disappear from the limelight altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t goodbye,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI\u2019ll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on \u2018The Voice\u2019 from time to time…you never know where I might show up next.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Since its debut in 2019, \u201cThe Kelly Clarkson Show\u201d has won 24 Daytime Emmys, including four for \u201cOutstanding Daytime Talk Series\u201d and four for Clarkson as \u201cOutstanding Talk Show Host,\u201d according to Variety.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Clarkson\u2019s decision to call it quits comes about six months after Brandon Blackstock, her ex-husband of nearly seven years and the father of her two kids,<\/a> died of cancer at 48. She took a few weeks off from making the show, but returned on Sept. 30 without mentioning his death.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
