It didn\u2019t take long for Nicki Minaj<\/a> to react to Trevor Noah\u2019s Grammy Awards quip<\/a> about her recent support of President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Noah, who hosted Sunday\u2019s ceremony, pointed out Minaj\u2019s absence from the event during his opening monologue. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cShe\u2019s still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues,\u201d the former \u201cDaily Show\u201d host quipped, adding that the president would likely brag about having a bigger \u201cass\u201d than Minaj. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Not long after Noah\u2019s monologue aired, Minaj fired back on X<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cTrevor refuses to come out the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend,\u201d she wrote. \u201cAllegedly.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Minaj included a photo of herself wearing a hat with the slogan \u201cNicki was right about everything,\u201d along with throwback images of rapper Jay-Z<\/a> with his wife, Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>, and late singer Aaliyah. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Minaj has received a total of 12 Grammy nominations over the course of her career, but she was not among this year\u2019s nominees. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Though the rapper has been critical of Trump in the past, she\u2019s fully embraced the president\u2019s MAGA agenda<\/a> in recent months. Last week, she declared herself Trump\u2019s \u201cNo. 1 fan<\/a>\u201d while speaking at a Treasury Department summit. Days later, she turned up<\/a> at the world premiere of \u201cMelania: Twenty Days to History<\/a>,\u201d the controversial new documentary about first lady Melania Trump<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As evidenced by her jab at Noah, Minaj has also begun embracing homophobic language and terminology as part of her rightward shift. Last week, she used an anti-LGBTQ+ slur<\/a> in reference to independent journalist Don Lemon<\/a>, who has been reporting on protests over Trump\u2019s crackdown on immigration in Minneapolis. The former celebrity.land<\/a> host is gay and married to real estate agent Tim Malone. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Minaj, who has long enjoyed a large LGBTQ+ fanbase, nonetheless doubled down on the slur after being hit with criticism. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
