We\u2019re making our way toward the 2026 season, and I\u2019m beyond excited. It\u2019s been fun to read through four of the industry\u2019s premier top 100 prospect lists (<\/span>ESPN<\/a>, <\/span>The Athletic<\/a>, <\/span>MLB Pipeline<\/a>, <\/span>Baseball America<\/a>). In today\u2019s piece, I\u2019m going to dive into some of the names I saw on lists that I haven\u2019t written up in depth on my own <\/span>top 40 list<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of my top 40 pitching prospect list, I plan to do a soft update before the season starts where I re-rank and add some cool graphics (which you\u2019ll see below, feedback appreciated). I will, however, leave much of the blurbs untouched. After a few months of the minor league season (mid\/late June?), I\u2019ll do fresh write-ups with fresh data. And then we\u2019ll cap it off with an end-of-season rank as well.<\/p>\n

I haven\u2019t officially announced this, but my Substack will be converting to fully paid this season (still $5\/mth or $30\/year). There will still be a free component (I\u2019m in the process of determining what that will be), but the only way to get my daily MLB pitcher notes <\/span>in full<\/em> once the season starts will be with a paid subscription. It\u2019s a change from last year! But I\u2019ve hit large enough scale on this newsletter (a <\/span>huge<\/em> thanks to everybody who reads and shares) that I want to make sure those paying to support this operation are getting more than their money\u2019s worth.<\/span><\/p>\n
