Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> told viewers during his Feb. 2 monologue that he will demand to host the Oscars in 2027 if \u201cMelania<\/a>\u201d ends up nominated in the best documentary category. The late night host was mocking Fox News<\/a> host Kayleigh McEnany<\/a>, who reacted to \u201cMelania\u2019s\u201d stronger-than-expected box office debut by saying the documentary \u201cshould be nominated for Oscars. And if she was to go, she would be the best dressed by a long shot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMark my words right now, if \u2018Melania<\/a>\u2019 gets nominated for an Oscar, I will host that show,\u201d Kimmel mockingly said as the audience cheered. \u201cWhether they ask me to or not. I will insist on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kimmel, who has hosted the Oscars four times, quipped earlier in the monologue: \u201c\u2018Melania<\/a>\u2019 has a score of 7% on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, but on Fox News it\u2019s got a strong 100%.\u201d<\/p>\n
