A red double-decker bus imported from England in 1994 will once again be displayed as the centerpiece and inspiration for the two-day extravaganza.<\/p>\n<div class=\"super-in-content-global-posts\" id=\"super-539171259\">\n<div style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"super-2618311227\" data-super-trackid=\"299399\" data-super-trackbid=\"1\" class=\"super-target\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/g-hope.com\/our-team\/sam-ballard\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"good hope 3\"><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Since the 2015 edition, organizers have selected a local artist to create the \u201cofficial artwork\u201d for the festival. This artwork is showcased on festival merchandise, including t-shirts, posters, and light pole banners displayed around the square. This year\u2019s distinguished artist is Allyn Fraser of Memphis.<\/p>\n<p>With more than 25 awards to its name \u2013 including the 2025 Shining Example Award for Large Festival by the Southeast Tourism Society, 2025 Outstanding Event Award by the Mississippi Pinnacle Awards, and the 2023 Best Large Festival by the Mississippi Tourism Association \u2013\u00a0Double Decker typically attracts more than 100,000 attendees throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n<h4>Live music schedule<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6 p.m. \u2014 Penelope Road<\/p>\n<p>7:30 p.m. \u2014 The War And Treaty<\/p>\n<p>9 p.m. \u2014 Shane Smith and The Saints<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>11:30 a.m. \u2014 Annie and the Caldwells<\/p>\n<p>1 p.m. \u2014 The Animeros<\/p>\n<p>2:30 p.m. \u2014 Mountain Grass Unit<\/p>\n<p>4 p.m. \u2014 The Heavy Heavy<\/p>\n<p>5:30 p.m. \u2014 The Dip<\/p>\n<p>7 p.m. \u2014 Margo Price<\/p>\n<p>8:30 p.m. \u2014 Wilco<\/p>\n<h4>Other events<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Oxford Micro Memoir initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Festivalgoers are invited to craft their own short memoir and workshop it with Beth Ann Fennelly, author of \u201cThe Irish Goodbye,\u201d during a free special session on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Oxford\u2011Lafayette Public Library. The public can sign up for the class by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tracking.us.nylas.com\/l\/9dac8330b425414d960dabc816e01926\/1\/c764a49b316b87e971457af7faedcb849bc145a3ced82552e3828ce0e9ec96ae?cache_buster=1770134792\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Participants have the chance to win a $750 grand prize or a $250 runner\u2011up prize, sponsored by Visit Oxford, and selected writers will read their work from the stage at Double Decker. The initiative is organized by the Greenfield Farm Writers Residency at the University of Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Southern showcase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2026 festival will spotlight a curated Southern experience that honors the Double Decker\u2019s roots. Attendees can sample a wide range of Southern-style foods and browse more than 150 art vendor booths. The artist showcase will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kids Zone and Blues Alley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, The Kid Zone will be in the Lafayette County Chancery Building parking lot from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Blue Delta Jeans Company will host the \u201cBlue Delta Blues Alley\u201d with a musical lineup beside The Lyric beginning at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<h4>Coinciding baseball series<\/h4>\n<p>Double Decker will be happening during an Ole Miss baseball series \u2014 as is common.
