\n\tBTS<\/a> is gearing up for their long-awaited return, revealing both an upcoming livestream performance and new documentary set to air on Netflix in partnership with Hybe.<\/p>\n

\n\tTitled \u201cBTS the Comeback Live | Arirang,\u201d the event will be broadcast from Gwanghwamun in Seoul, on March 21 at 7 a.m. ET in celebration of their forthcoming album, Arirang<\/a><\/em> arriving March 20. The global performance will be followed by BTS: The Return<\/em>, a documentary directed by Bao Nguyen exploring the making of the band\u2019s new LP and set to debut on March 27 on Netflix.<\/p>\n

\n\tA press release touts the doc as a \u201cportrait of resilience, brotherhood, and reinvention\u201d as members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, V, Jimin, and Jung Kook reunite in Los Angeles to \u201ccreate new music that reflects who they are now \u2014 culminating in what will become a landmark album of its time.\u201d The film will also see the group battling with \u201chow to begin again, how to honor the past without being bound by it, and how to move forward together.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tArirang<\/em> will be the group\u2019s first studio album since 2020\u2019s\u00a0Map of the Soul: 7<\/em> and is named for a traditional Korean folk song renowned both in Korea and around the world. The supergroup will also launch an extensive tour<\/a> this April that will run through March 2027 in support of their upcoming LP. The world tour will kick off in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, and see the band spending multiple nights in each city on the trek, including Tokyo, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Busan, London, Paris, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Manila.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
