The Duke of Edinburgh has become the first senior member of the
\nRoyal Family to speak out after the latest revelations about Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor\u2019s friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

Prince Edward<\/a> was asked about
\nhis brother and had a very firm reply.<\/p>\n

While speaking at the World Governments Summit, being held in
\nDubai, the Prince took a long question about the latest events. He
\nwas asked by celebrity.land which noted \u201dthis is an important question to
\nask and I want to ask it in the context of what we\u2019ve seen from
\nTheir Majesties and their response, they are saying we should be
\nfocused specifically on the experience of the victims\u201d<\/em> before
\nasking \u201dwhat do you think of this?\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

In response, the Duke of Edinburgh said \u201dI think it\u2019s really
\nimportant<\/em>, always, to remember the victims and who are the
\nvictims in all this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

It was a surprise comment from such a senior member of the Royal
\nFamily about the ongoing scandal surrounding Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor and his relationship with convicted sex
\noffender, Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

In the most recent revelations about Epstein, which saw millions
\nof documents about him released into the public domain, Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor was seen in photos kneeling over a woman who is
\nlying on the floor.<\/p>\n

One email that has just come to light shows Epstein being
\ninvited to Buckingham Palace in 2010, several months after he had
\nbeen released from prison for sex offences.<\/p>\n

Sarah Ferguson\u2019s relationship with Epstein was also under fresh
\nscrutiny as the documents appeared to confirm she had taken her two
\ndaughters,
\nBeatrice and Eugenie,<\/a> on a trip to Epstein\u2019s house after his
\nrelease from prison. They were 20 and 19 years old at the time.<\/p>\n

The princesses are said to be \u201daghast\u201d and \u201ddeeply embarrassed\u201d
\nby their parents following the latest revelations.<\/p>\n

The words of the Duke of Edinburgh echoed a statement issued by
\nKing Charles and Queen Camilla in October 2025, as Andrew
\nMountbatten-Windsor lost all his titles. In that, The King and
\nQueen said \u201dTheir Majesties wish to make clear that their
\nthoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the
\nvictims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Prince Edward is attending the World Governments Summit to
\nsupport the work of the Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s International
\nAward.<\/p>\n
