Olivia Dean has had a busy few years. The British singer-songwriter behind the viral hit \u201cMan I Need\u201d became a global pop icon following the success of her 2023 album Messy and won her first Grammy<\/span><\/a> this year for best new artist.<\/div>\n
Late last year, she also added a new role to her r\u00e9sum\u00e9 when Cartier named her one of its brand ambassadors. Dean, 26, first teased her partnership with the brand when she wore Cartier\u2019s Love Unlimited bracelet in yellow gold<\/span><\/a> in the music video for \u201cSo Easy (To Fall in Love)\u201d, released last September.<\/div>\n

Now, as she turns her attention to the maison\u2019s bolder side with the Clash de Cartier line, she talks about the collection\u2019s playful spirit, her everyday jewellery rituals, and what it means to work with a house as storied as Cartier.<\/p>\n

What I love most is how playful it is. The movement in the beads gives everything this cool, tactile feel. It\u2019s bold without trying too hard. I also really love the newer pieces; they\u2019re bolder in scale or have unexpected pops of colour, which makes them feel fresh and fun to wear.<\/p>\n

Do you find yourself drawn more to onyx, pink chalcedony, red or green agate \u2013 or do you lean towards an all-gold look?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love colourful moments but I always reach for an all-gold look<\/span><\/a> \u2013 I think it goes with everything. It\u2019s iconic and timeless.<\/div>\n
