After the 2026 Grammy Awards were filled with politically-charged speeches from notable artists, Ricky Gervais<\/a> has decided to weigh in\u2026 again.<\/p>\n

The controversial comedian and actor took to X after the Sunday night ceremony to resurface comments he made during his 2020 Golden Globes monologue, which saw him advise actors to leave politics out of their acceptance speeches.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you do win an award tonight, don\u2019t use it as a political platform to make a political speech,\u201d Gervais<\/a> said at the time. \u201cYou\u2019re in no position to lecture the public about anything.
