\n\tAfter the 2026 Grammy Awards were filled with politically-charged speeches from notable artists, Ricky Gervais<\/a> has decided to weigh in\u2026 again.<\/p>\n \n\tThe controversial comedian and actor<\/a> took to X<\/a> after the Sunday night ceremony to resurface comments he made during his 2020 Golden Globes monologue, which saw him advise actors to leave politics<\/a> out of their acceptance speeches.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIf you do win an award tonight, don\u2019t use it as a political platform to make a political speech,\u201d Gervais said at the time. \u201cYou\u2019re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn his new post, he added, \u201cThey\u2019re still not listening,\u201d followed by a crying face emoji.<\/p>\n \n\tThis wasn\u2019t the first time Gervais has resurfaced this message, as he previously shared it and then deleted it following Hacks actress Hannah Einbinder\u2019s speech at the 2025 Emmys<\/a>, which saw her say \u201cfuck ICE<\/a>\u201d and \u201cfree Palestine.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tAt the 2026 Grammys, Bad Bunny<\/a>, who won album of the year<\/a> for DeB\u00cd TiRAR M\u00e1S FOToS, called out ICE during his acceptance speech<\/a> earlier in the night for best m\u00fasica urbana album.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cBefore I say thanks to God, I\u2019m going to say ICE out,\u201d he told the crowd. \u201cWe\u2019re not savages, we\u2019re not animals, we\u2019re not aliens, we are humans and we are Americans. The hate gets more powerful with more hate. The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love. So we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don\u2019t hate them. We love our people. We love our family, and that\u2019s the way to do it with love. Don\u2019t forget that, please. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tAfter winning the award for song of the year for \u201cWildflower,\u201d Billie Eilish also spoke out against\u00a0ICE\u00a0in her speech<\/a>, saying, \u201cI feel so honored every time I get to be in this room.
