A longtime friend of Today<\/em><\/a> anchor Savannah Guthrie<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s mom is speaking out amid the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI think everybody is not only holding out hope but doing a lot of praying, and that\u2019s pretty much about the only thing I know,\u201d Mary Ann Blevins<\/strong> exclusively tells Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cI don\u2019t know anything else. Anything else we know is pretty much from the news.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blevins, who is in a book club with Nancy, explained that the 84-year-old did not have any issues with anyone prior to her disappearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe doesn\u2019t have any enemies at all,\u201d Blevins noted. \u201cAnd this, it\u2019s just a freaky thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blevins shared that she has not been in contact with Savannah, 54, or the family since Nancy\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve contacted a lot of friends in the country and outside the country, in different places, letting them know what is happening,\u201d she explained. \u201cPeople that I know \u2026 or our contacts and asking for their prayers. So, I have prayers all over being said for her. We\u2019re always praying, and we\u2019re just asking God to be with her and get her home. And we\u2019re hoping for better news today.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke on Sunday, February 1, that Nancy was reported missing by a family member who called 911. She had last been seen on Saturday, January 31.<\/p>\n

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos<\/strong> shared that Nancy\u2019s daughter Annie<\/strong> was the last person to see her<\/a>. (Nancy shared daughters Savannah and Annie and son Camron<\/strong> with late husband Charles<\/strong>, who died at age 49 after a heart attack.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe search to find Savannah Guthrie\u2019s missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, is \u201ca race against time,\u201d according to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos. Nanos appeared during the Tuesday, February 3, broadcast of the Today show and said he hopes \u201cthat window hasn\u2019t closed\u201d as the investigation into 84-year-old Nancy\u2019s disappearance continues. \u201cWe took some samples that [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe have a start point,\u201d Nanos exclusively told Us<\/em>. \u201cThe family took her home from dinner at about 9:30 to 9:45 [p.m.] So we would back that up to even say 9 or 8:30 p.m. to start looking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nanos noted that Annie didn\u2019t raise any \u201cred flags\u201d about Nancy\u2019s behavior prior to her disappearance and further claimed that the matriarch\u2019s family members \u201cweren\u2019t alerted to her [missing] until about 11 in the morning\u201d the following day, with police being called around 12:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

He explained that authorities are investigating a timeline \u201canywhere from 9:30 p.m. to 11 [a.m.]\u201d as the window of when Nancy went missing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is an 84-year-old lady who is safe in her own home asleep, and she is taken. That should never happen,\u201d Nanos told Us<\/em>, noting that Savannah\u2019s mom takes medication and \u201cgoing without her meds can be fatal.\u201d<\/p>\n
