Which is why it\u2019s so surprising that Amazon would pull Melania from a movie theater after some gentle mocking about the film appeared on its marquee.<\/p>\n

As first reported by The Oregonian, and then nationally spotted by The Daily Beast, an Oregon theater long known for finding creatively witty ways to advertise its movies was asked by Amazon to stop screening Melania<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Lake Theater and Cafe in Lake Oswego had touted last week\u2019s release of Amazon MGM<\/a>\u2019s controversial documentary with declarations such as \u201cDoes Melania wear Prada? Find out Friday\u201d and \u2014 quoting Sun Tzu\u2019s The Art of War \u2014 \u201cTo defeat your enemy, you must know them. Melania<\/a> starts Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then manager Jordan Perry<\/a> says their booker received a call from somebody at Amazon asking the theater to pull the film.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
