Influencer Meredith Hayden<\/strong>, known online as Wishbone Kitchen, is recalling a scary incident from her past.<\/p>\n

In a Tuesday, February 3, TikTok<\/a> video, Hayden stitched a post from another creator who asked why the influencer had been sharing her worries about traveling to Japan earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI really want to be excited about [the trip], but I\u2019m so anxious,\u201d Hayden shared in the January 13 TikTok<\/a> video. \u201cAnd I\u2019ve been so anxious about it for the past, like, three weeks and that\u2019s why I haven\u2019t really been posting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayden \u2014 who has more than 2.3 million followers<\/a> on TikTok \u2014 shared that she felt \u201cfrozen\u201d and admitted that she had been unable to stop having \u201cpanic attacks and crying\u201d ahead of the trip.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tInfluencer Kindra Hall had a frightening encounter when out and about in New York City. \u201cOn Wednesday, May 14th, around 10:30am I was punched in the head by a passing stranger,\u201d the author, 44, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, May 22. \u201cI wasn\u2019t going to post this as a reel \u2026 but there are a [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

When the user wondered about why Hayden was \u201ccrying and saying how anxious and stressed she is,\u201d the influencer replied in her Tuesday video, \u201cThanks so much for bringing this up. I would love to answer your question.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason why I was crying and anxious about flying across the globe was because four years ago, I was roofied at a Hollywood premiere party in a very luxurious setting where I thought I was safe and I thought I could trust the people around me,\u201d Hayden alleged. \u201cAnd then when I went outside to try to go home because I started to feel weird, someone pushed me into their car and kidnapped me for a few hours.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayden began laughing in the clip, explaining that humor is the way she copes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t ever talk about this online because it happened, like, right as I started getting a following on TikTok, and I was like, \u2018Well, I don\u2019t want to be the roofie girl. The roofie kidnap girl,\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cI think I started therapy right after and I didn\u2019t really vibe with my therapist. Waited another year, saw a psychiatrist, he diagnosed me with PTSD, anxiety, depression and a pinch of agoraphobia. Where I\u2019m afraid to go into crowded spaces.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t2025 was a big year for people who are chronically online. While there were many TikTok trends that encapsulated the past 365 days (hello, group 7!), the Coldplay Kiss Cam scandal grabbed the attention of social media users and celebrities alike. In case you forgot, a jumbotron showed former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and employee [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, \u201cGuess what\u2019s really crowded? Tokyo. So, yes, I was staying in very nice hotels. It was my 30th birthday and that was my present to myself. But that doesn\u2019t mean you can\u2019t have anxiety about your situation, about being in a foreign country where you don\u2019t speak the language and you know nobody except for the person you are traveling with, OK? Let\u2019s use our brains a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayden went on to note that this is \u201cnot\u201d the way she wanted her \u201croofie survival story\u201d to come out on the internet. \u201cBut if the shoe fits,\u201d Hayden quipped. \u201cYou forced my hand.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hayden shared that she did not report the incident to the police because a few months prior, she claimed she was robbed on the street in the West Village of New York City \u2014 which she did report, but claimed the ordeal was \u201chumiliating\u201d and \u201cfrustrating.\u201d<\/p>\n
