AMC Networks announced Thursday morning that it has renewed its noir drama Dark Winds<\/a> for a fifth season. The decision was made ahead of the season four premiere, which will air Feb. 15 at 9 p.m. Et\/Pt.<\/p>\n Filming for season five will begin in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in March. It will debut in 2027 and, like season four, will consist of eight hourlong episodes.<\/p>\n The show stars Zahn McClarnon<\/a> as Lt. Joe Leaphorn, Kiowa Gordon<\/a> as Officer Jim Chee, Jessica Matten<\/a> as Sgt. Bernadette Manuelito and Deanna Allison<\/a> as Emma Leaphorn.
