The Black Keys<\/a> are keeping up their loose pattern of releasing an album every year; their newest, the enthusiastically titled Peaches!<\/em><\/a>, arrives May 1 via Easy Eye Sound\/Warner. Leading the blues-rock band\u2019s return is the single \u201cYou Got to Lose\u201d and its music video directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher<\/a>, in which the duo plays a surprise show at Memphis juke joint Hernando\u2019s Hide-A-Way. Check it out below.<\/p>\n Spanning 10 songs, Peaches!<\/em> is billed as the Black Keys at their \u201cmost natural\u201d since their 2002 debut, The Big Come Up<\/em>. The follow-up to 2025\u2019s No Rain, No Flowers<\/em><\/a> is the duo\u2019s 14th album together overall. The band started working on the record after singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach\u2019s father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and stayed in his son\u2019s Nashville home while rapidly declining.<\/p>\n \u201cWe weren\u2019t making a record. We were just jamming, like this is for us,\u201d Auerbach said in a press release. \u201cReally primal, in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits.
