\u201cIt\u2019s too far away?\u201d the \u201cLate Night\u201d host asked Wednesday. \u201cYou know you have your own plane, right? Like, we weren\u2019t expecting you to pile into a station wagon with Eric, Don Jr.<\/a>, and Melania.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meyers noted Trump\u2019s recent multiple trips abroad and went on to speculate that there may be \u201canother reason he might not want to attend a football game in the current political climate,\u201d before cutting to footage of Trump being audibly booed<\/a> during his attendance at a Sunday Night Football clash between the Washington Commanders and the Detroit Lions in Washington, D.C., in November.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A Zeteo<\/a> report this week said Trump\u2019s aides had advised him not to attend amid their fears he would receive a similar negative reception at the Super Bowl, and that\u2019s the real reason for him skipping the showdown.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOf course, Trump is worried about getting booed,\u201d said Meyers. \u201cHis approval ratings have been at all-time lows and his party\u2019s getting shellacked everywhere, even in deep red states like Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
