Berkeley officials were excited to host\u00a0 the Flag Football Game during Super Bowl week, with the celebrities bringing in the crowds and giving them a chance to showcase the city.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt means a lot to our local community, and we encourage people to check it out while they\u2019re here,\u201d Berkeley Mayor Adena Ishii said.<\/p>\n
The event also recognized first responders and military veterans by giving them free admission into the game.<\/p>\n
Rapper Quavo says supporting our troops is bigger than any celebrity game.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m just blessed to be here, just excited to be here for a cause, honoring our people in the field, I\u2019m just here to have some fun,\u201d Quavo said. As for the final score, Team Quavo beat Team Dwight 82 to 67 – an exciting game that brought some Super Bowl fun to the East Bay.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
