The <strong>multidisciplinarian<\/strong> said: <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis track, but really the whole EP I\u2019ve been working on, captures all the feelings pre, during and post a really harrowing and brutal experience in Summer 2024 that led to an emergency surgery; being faced with your own mortality, grief, love, disillusionment, resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Poly says the track is \u201cthe darkest and moodiest of the EP\u201d and is \u201cinspired by the grimness\u201d of her affliction. The vocalist and producer found solace in literature, citing English writer <strong>Christina Rossetti <\/strong>for the motif in<strong> the song\u2019s lyrics<\/strong>: <em>\u201cWhere are the words?,\u201d \u201cCan you hold my head when the heart is leaving?,\u201d \u201cHow do I carry this body diminished\u2026?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large has-custom-border\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">BTS of 98 Poly working on her forthcoming EP, \u2018This room contains the world\u2019<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trauma of <strong><em>3 Hearts From My Mouth<\/em><\/strong> can be felt throughout its three-minute runtime, with a tense crescendo <strong>buoyed<\/strong> by <strong>soft vocals <\/strong>and plaintive introduction.
