Feb. 6 (UPI) —<\/span> Taylor Swift<\/a> dropped a music video for her song “Opalite” on Spotify Premium and Apple Music Friday, ahead of its release on YouTube Sunday.<\/p>\n

The music video begins with a woman sitting next to a trash can in an apparent infomercial for the household product “Opalite.”\n<\/p>\n

“Introducing ‘Opalite,’ the revolutionary fix for your problems,” a voice says. “Just one spray and ‘Opalite’ completely transforms your problems into your paradise. Using our state of the art chemical potion, it works on friendships, couples, pets and co-workers.”<\/p>\n

The video stars Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Domhnall Gleeson, Lewis Capaldi, Graham Norton<\/a>, and features an image of Cillian Murphy.<\/p>\n

The songstress, 36, discussed the cast<\/a> in a social media post about the music video Friday.\n<\/p>\n

“My favorite part about writing is that first spark of an idea. It can happen at any time, for any reason,” she said. “The idea for the ‘Opalite’ music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for The Life of a Showgirl.<\/i>“<\/p>\n

She said that inspiration struck when she starred on The Graham Norton Show<\/i> alongside Murphy, Gleeson, Lee, Turner-Smith and Capaldi.<\/p>\n

“When we were all talking during the broadcast, Domhnall made a light-hearted joke about wanting to be in one of my music videos,” Swift recalled. “He’s Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an idea. And so, a week later, he received an email script I’d written for the ‘Opalite ‘ video, where he was playing the starring role. I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on The<\/i> Graham Norton Show<\/i>, including Graham himself, could be a part of it, too.”<\/p>\n

“To my delight, everyone from the show made the effort to time travel back to the 90’s with us and help with this video,” she added. “You might even recognize some friendly faces from The Eras Tour<\/i>.”\n<\/p>\n
