I mentioned in the intro<\/a> today that celebrities will be on the move this weekend, headed to the Super Bowl or the Olympics, and here we have George and Amal Clooney arriving in Milano-Cortina, the day of the opening ceremony. Amal\u2019s boots are stunning, and George was also there.<\/p>\n But the Clooneys are not the only celebrities on the move. Chris Hemsworth is in New York, doing press for Crime 101. There are no major movies opening this weekend because of the Super Bowl, traditionally a depressed box office weekend, but that just means that next weekend is overcrowded and Crime 101 is opening against Wuthering Heights and the Sam Rockwell apocalyptic action-comedy Good Luck Don\u2019t Die Have Fun (I appreciate what they\u2019re trying to do but that title is TOO MUCH).<\/p>\n Hemsworth has been talking<\/a> about his genetic predisposition for Alzheimer\u2019s, and the worries it brings regarding his career and family. Alzheimer\u2019s and dementia are so hard, I tested negative for the gene last year and cried when I got my result, it\u2019s so stressful to think about regardless of outcome. I\u2019ve seen multiple close family members go through it, and I have another fading right now, I hate this disease with a palpable fury. Alzheimer\u2019s is a thief of joy, what little praying I do revolves around finding a cure for Alzheimer\u2019s. I sincerely appreciate Chris Hemsworth talking about his journey, hopefully it makes someone else feel less alone in a very isolating experience.<\/p>\n Meanwhile over in Los Angeles, Keke Palmer was at the premiere of The Burbs, a series remake of the 1989 film starring Tom Hanks (it\u2019s way darker than you remember!). Keke co-stars in the series, which is coming to Peacock, with professionally annoying British person Jack Whitehall.
